The Independence Program

Velora Autism Corner

The Independence Program; enables the young autistic person aged between 11 - 25 years; to travel around London with an experience support worker, sometimes in pairs and sometimes in small groups of not more than six.

We also have plans to take our Young people away on residential weekends within the United Kingdom. We are flexible with our prices because a lot depends on the ability and behaviour of the autistic young person.

Families are expected to cover our costs from the PIP and DLA funding they already receive from HMRC.

Consideration is given to the income of parents. In cases where parents would struggle to pay our costs then we cover this situation by pulling money from funding we receive from regular funders.
