2-hour nursing skills training for unpaid Carers

FREE Course teaching family carers basic nursing skills which will help them keep their ill or disabled loved ones healthy after hospital discharge and avoid hospital stays or re-admissions.

  • Addressing swallowing problems (Dysphagia)

  • Skin Care and prevention of
  • Signs of infection and what action to take
  • Unwell out of hours? Where to go / who to call
  • Want to avoid an unnecessary trip back to A & E or to your GP? 

Call 020 8366 3677 to book a place either online via Zoom or face-to-face in the Edmonton venue.

Groups are now ‘mixed’ participation – online (Zoom) or you can come into the Centre.

If you’d like to be face-to-face, you must call 020 8366 3677 to book a space. Everyone coming to the Centre must wear a mask, sanitise their hands and have their temperature taken when they enter the building.

Social distancing rules and other safety measures apply. No drop-ins will be admitted.

Sessions are for unpaid carers who are registered with the Enfield Carers Centre.
