Working outside in a public park to maintain community spaces including a kitchen garden, wildlife
garden and orchard. Typical duties include weeding, watering, spreading bark chips, trimming the  grass, maintaining pathways and generally keeping the park tidy and free from litter. The work is

physical e.g. pushing a water bowser or wheelbarrow and using hand tools. Some gardening
knowledge is preferred.  You can work at you own pace in groups or individually. Volunteers are briefed about the tasks
required at the beginning of each session. And although what we do is as part of a team effort,  individuals must be able to use their own initiative and work with a minimum of supervision.  All tools provided. You should dress for the weather and wear suitable, sturdy footwear and bring  your own gloves.

On Tuesday morning between 10.00-13.00.
